The 37-year-old announced his retirement from the sport on Saturday
Stuart Broad has been praised for 'speaking his mind' by former Australia star Brad Hogg.
The 37-year-old is currently in the spotlight after taking the final two wickets of the Ashes on Monday, having announced his imminent retirement from the sport 48 hours previously.
Broad was always a consistent performer on the field, while he's also been vocal throughout his career as well.
And Hogg, speaking on his YouTube channel, has now praised the England icon for 'speaking his mind'.

"When there is an issue, Broad speaks up his mind and I really like that," he said.
"I think players should be allowed to speak their minds like him.
"[Usman] Khawaja does it as well, which is good."
England needed two wickets in the closing stages to see off Australia and level the series.
And Hogg was amazed at the way Broad stepped up, even if the hosts were unable to win back the urn.
"I can't believe someone has finished with a six to end their batting career and pick up two crucial wickets to help the team get over the line," he continued.
"I love the way he wants to be in the contest.
"As much as possible, he gets in under the opposition's skin and more importantly, I love his attitude to the game."
While Broad impressed with the ball, Zak Crawley was impressive with the bat.
The England star scored 480 runs in nine innings, including an astonishing century during the fourth Test at Old Trafford that helped his side to victory.
Crawley has been criticised in the past but Hogg has now hailed the 25-year-old, while also praising Usman Khawaja for his performances.
No player scored more runs than Khawaja, who clocked up 496 from 10 innings.
Hogg said: "Khawaja was brilliant with the bat.
"He was patient, he played a different style than what England did. He was prepared to bat for a long period of time.
"Crawley was just sensational, I thought he was going to be the weak link going into the series.
"Australia were too defensive with Crawley early on in the series."
Meanwhile, regarding Broad, former England captain Nasser Hussain hailed the veteran for the way he bowed out.
“He loves the theatre and the entertainment," he said. "But more than that, he loves winning.
"And the script was unbelievable. You know, left-handers on strike. He's been all over left-handers.
