Kyren Wilson caused anger in the Eurosport commentary box during his World Open defeat to Judd Trump after a deliberate miscue in the fourth frame to avoid a push hit.
Trump looked on course for a straightforward win over Wilson after taking the opening two frames comfortably.
But the five-time ranking event winner pulled it back in the third and was presented with an opportunity in the next frame during a tense safety battle.
With the pack of reds strewn all over the table and the black covering one of the pockets, Wilson appeared stumped on what to do next.
The cue ball was resting close to a red in the middle of the table with hardly any room for safety.

Wilson ended up deciding to deliberately miscue the white to softly hit the red, leaving Trump with a similar shot choice.
Commentator Philip Studd noted on Eurosport: "One of those deliberate miscues Mark Williams style.
"Almost aiming to miss the cue ball and just hit the outside edge of it in order to avoid the push shot.
But former snooker star Neal Foulds was unimpressed and feels the shot - which is legal under current rules - should be banned.
"It's a legal shot but I actually don't like it," Foulds said on commentary.
"I think they should ban the shot because it doesn't look right.
"You're not even playing it off the main part of the tip.
"But it is a legal shot so fair enough. Until it is outlawed, it will remain a legal way of avoiding the push shot."
The decision paid off for Wilson as he eventually went on to win that frame after a safety error from Trump.
But the very next frame created even more of a buzz when Trump benefited from two crazy flukes while in a losing position.

The fifth frame required a re-rack at one stage but Wilson was in control with just the colours left.
Trump attempted a long pot with the green with not much else as he hammered the cue ball down the table.
Incredibly, the green ball bounced off four cushions before rolling into the top right pocket.

Trump was then snookered behind the blue ball from the brown, but he pulled off another fluke by bouncing the brown off two cushions before it dropped into the top left pocket.
That ultimately saw the match turn in Trump's favour as he wrapped up the frame to move into a 3-2 lead.
He then won the next two frames to progress to the semi-final where he will face Jackson Page.
