The couple have been dating for a short time

Eloise Milburn has denied she met Luke Littler playing Pro Clubs on FIFA.

The couple have been in the spotlight over the past couple of weeks, with Littler recently taking the World Darts Championship by storm.

The 16-year-old wasn't considered one of the favourites prior to the competition.

But Littler performed outstandingly at Alexandra Palace, seeing off the likes of Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld before reaching the final.

The teenager wasn't able to walk away with the ultimate prize, with Luke Humphries reigning supreme.

But Littler and Eloise have received fame as a result of the darts star's brilliant displays.

Amid their relationship, it has previously been reported that the pair met playing Pro Clubs on FIFA.

FIFA is the popular video game football franchise which is now named EA Sports FC, with gamers able to play as their favourite football clubs and players.

Yet Eloise, writing on her Instagram account, issued a clarification.

"Just confirming we didn't' meet on clubs," she said.

According to the Daily Star, the couple actually met through mutual friends instead of playing games on the Xbox.

These friends in question believed the pair could get along due to their mutual love of darts and football.

And they've certainly been proven right, with the duo seemingly loved up.

Eloise plays darts at the Walton Working Men's Club, while the 21-year-old also represents the Surrey Women's darts side as well.

As for Littler, he's now preparing for his Premier League debut.

The youngster has been picked as a wildcard for the competition, which is due to commence on February 1.

It will run until May 23, with Michael van Gerwen currently the reigning champion.

Littler's inclusion in the prestigious tournament has many fans excited.

Yet former darts star James Wade has warned the teenager that the Premier League can be a 'lonely' place to be.

"I can understand the PDC's desire to put Luke into the Premier League (he is their most marketable asset at present) but that roadshow is a lonely and tiring place and I really hope that it doesn't come at the cost of burn-out for the rest of his career," he said.

"He deserves to be nurtured because it is a great story, and he could turn out to be a top, top player for a long time.

"Believe it or not, back before Michael van Gerwen came on the scene, I was the youngest-ever player to have won a TV major in darts.

"They say the first is the hardest, but I thought it was the second - there is suddenly expectations, some haters, people wanting to beat you.

"It all must be dealt with in a way you never experienced as an outsider."
