The duo will lock horns in Berlin tonight

Luke Littler has been asked about darts' biggest moaner and the funniest player ahead of his Premier League clash with Rob Cross tonight.

The 17-year-old, along with his girlfriend Eloise Milburn and mother Lisa, have all jetted out to Berlin for the blockbuster showdown.

Littler will go into the second week of Premier League action having impressed last time out.

He beat Luke Humphries for the second time in a month, having previously lost to the 28-year-old in the final of the World Darts Championship at the start of January.

And though Littler was unable to beat Michael Smith, he put up a remarkable fight during his 6-5 defeat.

The teenager has now been asked a series of questions by Sky Sports as he looks to continue his outstanding form.

When asked about the biggest moaner in the sport, Littler let out at a smile and named Gerwyn Price.

"I'll probably go Gezzy, Gerwyn Price, because even when I beat him he goes on Instagram and 'if someone can give me a double I'd win every game.' So, like, okay," he quipped.

Cross also agreed with Littler and said: "Gezzy likes moaning.

"The other day he missed a few doubles, I have to get the world's smallest violin out.

"It's not good for business."

Littler was also asked about the funniest player on the tour as well.

And the teenager said Cross was, explaining his reasoning by saying: "I'd say Rob Cross, he never shuts up and talks nonsense."

Littler was in good spirits during the interview.

He prompted laughs at the end of the segment when he was asked which darts player he'd like to swap lives with.

"No-one," he added. I don't think no-one plays Xbox like me so I'd probably be bored."

Littler has regularly spoken about his love of Xbox.

He has, however, denied meeting girlfriend Eloise by playing on the game console.

Littler and Cross will have to put their budding friendship aside when they go up against each other tonight.

And Cross has admitted he's eager to beat the 17-year-old to boost his chances of Premier League glory.

“Luke is an amazing kid but I still want to beat him," Cross told the PDC.

“I genuinely don’t think any of the more experienced guys like myself, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price or Peter Wright actually think of him as a 17-year-old teenager.

“We just see him as someone we have to beat on the stage.

"He conducts himself brilliantly, he acts like he’s been around the sport for years the way he handles the pressure and the media.
