Conor McGregor's UFC return againt Michael Chandler at UFC 303 looks in doubt after a scheduled press conference in Dublin on Monday night was cancelled.
McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since 2021 but has long been lined up to make his return against Chandler.
The two were originally set to face off last year after both signing up as coaches for The Ultimate Fighter series.
The fight wasn't able to go ahead as McGregor was no longer in the UFC’s drug-testing pool.

But he returned to the pool in October and announced at the turn of the year that he was set to make his hotly-anticipated return against Chandler.
The fight was finally confirmed on May 24 to headline UFC 303 in Las Vegas on June 29.
Tickets sold out in fewer than 10 minutes and McGregor was set to face the media and public for the first time since the announcement at a press conference on Monday at the 3Arena in Dublin.
However, the press conference was cancelled by the UFC just hours before the doors were set to open.
“Dear UFC Fans, The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice,” the UFC posted on X.
“We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you.”
McGregor was expected to attend media obligations on Sunday ahead of Monday's press conference, but reportedly cancelled them all.
The 35-year-old raised eyebrows last month when he posted several videos online of him partying into the early hours of the morning at his Dublin bar with his long-time partner Dee Devlin.
Dana White was asked about McGregor's partying antics at the UFC 302 press conference recently, but didn't appear concerned.
