The offer stands at more than €100million

Bayern Munich have submitted their final offer to sign Spurs’ captain Harry Kane, and the North London team have up until midnight to decide.

The offer stands at more than €100million (£86.24million) with add-ons included.

The German champions want a quick decision from Tottenham and are ready to look at other transfer targets if the deal is not agreed to.

If Spurs decline the Germans’ latest offer, then Kane will most likely see out his final year at the club before leaving for free next summer.

All parties involved are keen to get Kane’s future resolved as soon as possible, especially before Spurs’ opening Premier League game of the new season at Brentford on August 13.

Kane seems unwilling to sign a new deal with Tottenham, despite attempts from the club to keep up.

Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel, the Bayern coach, has had his eyes set on the England captain all summer.

There was believed to be at least a £20million gap in the valuation of what Bayern would offer and Spurs wanted, when talks were held on Monday.

The Germans believe they have improved on this now and feel the final offer is a fair one.

The negotiations were held in London and saw Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy and Bayern’s chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and their director Marco Neppe, discuss the deal.

Whilst it ended in deadlock, Bayern were encouraged by the fact that Levy was willing to meet with them to discuss Kane’s future.

Bayern however will want to receive encouragement that the deal will go ahead or they will withdraw the offer.

Bayern’s funds have recently been boosted after selling Sadio Mane to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr for £24 million.

Tuchel is keen to get Kane onboard before Bayern plays the DFL-Supercup against RB Leipzig next Saturday. Their first Bundlesiga game takes place the following Friday.

If Kane leaves the Premier League, he would put a pause on his pursuit of surpassing Alan Shearer’s goal scoring record. He is currently 48 goals short of surpassing the Newcastle legend.
