George Russell has revealed he and his Mercedes team plan to have 'a few drinks' after the driver finished third at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.
The 25-year-old went into the race on the back of an impressive showing in qualifying.
And Russell performed well in the Middle East, finishing third - with only Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc ahead of him.
Mercedes have endured a difficult season, with Red Bull often dominating.

Yet Russell was proud of his team as they clinched second in the constructors' championship ahead of rivals Mclaren and Ferrari.
"It means a huge amount," he told Sky Sports.
"There are so many people back at the factory, Brackley, Brixworth, who have worked so hard to achieve this.
"It has been a really challenging season. I have let the side down a couple of times this year so pleased to bring it across the line.
"It was tight with Checo at the end and I thought Charles was going to back me up, but respect to him for keeping it clean. Woah, I can chill out now!
"I came out of the pits on the second set of hards, managing a bit, and Checo came from nowhere.
"I don't know hat happened, there, they had great pace, it was really tense at the end.
"The tyres were dropping off but really pleased to have secured P2 for the team.
"I'm sure the team will have a few drinks tonight."
On being ill in the build-up to the race, Russell continued: "I was probably coughing four times a lap, so it was pretty miserable out there which probably didn't help things.
"But a massive relief to have brought the car home P3."
Verstappen, meanwhile, has made history after winning his 19th race of the season.
And the Red Bull star was delighted after securing more glory, with the 26-year-old praising the achievement.
"[It] was an incredible season, it was a bit emotional on the last lap," he said.
"The last time sitting in the car which of course has given me a lot.
"Of course, very proud to win the final race, I have to say thanks to everyone at Red Bull it’s been an incredible year.
"It will be hard to do something similar, but we definitely enjoyed this year.
"It will be very hard to have another season like this, we know that, you always want to do better, but doing better is not always race wins and winning the championship.
"We are working hard for next year for a very competitive car.
"For sure all the other teams want to try and beat us next year, but we are ready for the battle and in the meantime we’re going to enjoy this year as well."
