Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to trigger Morgan Gibbs-White's £60 million release clause as they accelerate their summer transfer business following their agreement to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United for £55 million.
The north London club have opened negotiations with Nottingham Forest for the 25-year-old England international midfielder.
Tottenham have now turned their attention to Gibbs-White after securing the Kudus deal, which represents the first transfer between Spurs and West Ham since Scott Parker's move in 2011.
The ambitious double swoop would see Tottenham invest over £115 million in strengthening their squad.

Gibbs-White enjoyed an exceptional campaign at the City Ground, contributing seven goals and eight assists in 34 Premier League appearances as Forest secured a seventh-place finish.
His performances earned him a breakthrough into the England squad, where he has now won four caps.

New Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is a long-term admirer of the midfielder since his time in charge of Brentford.
The 25-year-old joined Forest from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2022 for an initial £25 million fee, which later rose to £42.5 million.
His impressive form last season attracted interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City, though Pep Guardiola's side have since cooled their pursuit.
Forest are under no financial pressure to sell their star midfielder, having completed Anthony Elanga's £55 million transfer to Newcastle United earlier this week.
The potential departure of Gibbs-White would represent significant profit for the Midlands club, who could receive more than double their initial investment from 2022.
Tottenham's pursuit of the England international forms part of their strategy to strengthen the squad for Champions League football next season.
Despite finishing 17th in the Premier League last term - their lowest-ever position in the competition - Spurs secured European football's premier tournament through their Europa League triumph under former manager Ange Postecoglou.

Chairman Daniel Levy is keen to bolster the squad after what proved to be a disastrous Premier League campaign, with Spurs salvaging their season through continental success.
The Europa League victory means Tottenham will compete in the Champions League despite their domestic struggles, providing additional appeal to potential signings.
Frank's appointment last month signalled the club's intent to rebuild, with the former Brentford manager now pursuing multiple targets.
Alongside Gibbs-White and Kudus, Tottenham have also registered interest in Brentford attacker Yoane Wissa as they seek to overhaul their squad for the upcoming campaign.
