The ITV pundit has spoken out about the Three Lions star

Roy Keane has warned Jude Bellingham to stop being 'cocky and arrogant' and told the England star to be careful about his goal celebrations ahead of the Three Lions' Euro 2024 clash with Switzerland on Saturday night.

The 21-year-old saved Gareth Southgate's side from defeat against Slovakia last weekend, netting a stunning equaliser at the death.

But Bellingham has received arrogance accusations in the time since after saying 'who else?' upon scoring.

His quality is undeniable but Keane has now warned the youngster to watch himself in future, saying he's walking a 'fine line'.

"If you scored a big goal, to me that wouldn't even cross your mind," he told Stick to Football.

"Scoring goals is the best part of football but I just can't imagine that you'd have something in your head to say, 'Who else?'

"That's the bit where I'd be going, 'Hold on a second'. It's a bit cocky and arrogant.

"Bellingham has to be careful with his celebration after scoring against Slovakia.

"You're always walking a fine line; you don't want it to seem like it's all about you."

Ian Wright, however, defended Bellingham and said he had no concerns about the Real Madrid star.

"I'm not concerned about Jude Bellingham at all," Wright said.

"For him to play the two games before Slovakia, to continue to show and work hard, scores the winner... he's somebody that will continue to try and get it done. He's 21.

"A personality like Jude, and the way he's been managed up to this point with the psychology and everything he's done, he's in a place where he reminds me of an American athlete, how they're so invested in themselves and have so much faith in themselves.

"We, as English people don't accept that kind of person, don't accept that kind of, 'Wow, he's having himself', and so he should.

"He's shown in adversity that he's going to go and do it, he believes in himself, so why then does he have to go into an interview afterwards and go the other way?

"You've got to project if that's where he is, and you can deal with the side-looks from pundits and journalists saying he's this and he's that."

A tweak of formation is expected, with Southgate poised to go with three at the back as he looks to guide his side into the last four.

"I think it’s fine to demonstrate any emotion and I think all football players have an ego, all sportspeople have an ego," he opined.

"You have to, to be on that pitch.

"But is he popular with his team-mates, and is he grounded and not letting anything get carried away? Those are the two things.

"If he's in control of everything, popular with his team-mates and not getting carried away, go as you like."
