An extraordinary celebration mishap marred Nottingham Forest's season opener when goalkeeping coach Rui Barbosa suffered a head injury requiring six stitches.
The incident occurred merely five minutes into Saturday's match against Brentford as Barbosa struck his head against the dugout whilst celebrating Chris Wood's early strike.
Medical personnel attended to the coach, who experienced dizziness following the impact that left a significant wound.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo later confirmed the severity of the injury, describing it as "a nasty one" and revealing his colleague had received half a dozen stitches.
Despite the concerning incident on the touchline, Forest's afternoon proved highly successful with a commanding 3-1 triumph at the City Ground.
Wood's double and debutant Dan Ndoye's maiden strike powered the hosts to an emphatic victory.
The New Zealand striker opened his account after just six minutes before completing his brace shortly before the interval.
Ndoye marked his first appearance with a goal sandwiched between Wood's efforts, capitalising on what Wood after a brilliant pass from Morgan Gibbs-White.
Nuno expressed his satisfaction with the display, stating: "I am delighted.
"The way we started the game was amazing. We played good, we dominated, we controlled the goal in the first five minutes settled the team and the energy of the stadium."
Wood reflected on the comprehensive team display, emphasising the importance of maintaining their momentum.
The striker said: "It's a great start and the team did fantastically well. In the first half we did exactly what we wanted to do to a tee and came in three goals to the good.

"Elliot is like Morgan in that they see things that aren't always there.
"As soon as the ball dropped to him I wanted to get in behind, he split the defence unbelievably for me to put away my second.
"The team performance was unbelievable today and rightly so everybody in the squad deserves the plaudits for it. We have to continue it and keep it going."
Regarding Ndoye's impressive debut, Wood noted: "He's got a great eye for goal which he has shown in training and now he's done it in a game."

The striker also commended the supporters' role, observing: "The crowd didn't get nervy which is really helpful to us on the pitch and it's fantastic that we're all going in the same direction."
Nuno's tactical satisfaction extended beyond the scoreline, as he explained: "With the exception of a moment before the third goal, we did not allow Brentford too many things."
The Portuguese manager's assessment underscored Forest's defensive solidity alongside their attacking prowess in what proved a comprehensive opening-day victory.
