"Morecambe Football Club would like to thank it’s supporters for their patience, loyalty and continued backing throughout this period."

The league had said the embargo would remain in place until all football creditors, such as players, staff and HM Revenue & Customs, had been paid in full.

The news also comes as rumours persisted that the club would have to postpone their fixture again this weekend.

It had been said the club had just five contracted players and remained uninsured to train on their training pitches.
