Jordan Bird, the former partner of England footballer Millie Bright, has revealed that the Lioness ended their relationship on the same day they completed the purchase of a £465,000 home together.
The 31-year-old semi-professional footballer met Bright whilst carrying out groundwork at Chelsea Women's stadium, where the defender plays her club football.
After nearly two years together, the couple bought a three-bedroom property in Redhill, Surrey.
"I thought we were so happy but the day she moved into the house she suddenly told me she had doubts about us, and I wasn't welcome to join her," Bird told The Sun.

The Worcester Park resident described the shock of being excluded from the home they had just purchased together. Bird revealed that this was not the first time Bright had abruptly ended their relationship.
"She'd done it before declaring her undying love to me one day then dumping me the next," he added.
"Then after a short break she'd say she'd made a big mistake, and wanted to start again."

He described their relationship as following a repetitive cycle of breakups and reunions.
"It was a bit of an ongoing cycle," he said. "But this time it was the end."
However, Bird indicated that the split on the day of their house purchase marked the definitive end of their relationship.

Levi Crew, Millie Bright's ex-fiance, has reportedly been kicked out of the England star's home
Following their split, Bright moved her new partner Levi Crew into the Surrey property that Bird had been barred from entering.
Crew, who became involved with the England international after her relationship with Bird ended, took up residence in the three-bedroom house.
However, recent reports have revealed that Bright has now ejected Crew from the home as well.
LATEST SPORTS NEWS:
The property has since welcomed a new occupant in the form of Dave Zetolofsky, a personal trainer and martial arts fighter. Bird acknowledged that he has found it difficult to follow the developments in his ex-partner's romantic life.
"It has been tough reading about the latest events in Millie's love life," he admitted.
Despite their turbulent history, Bird has found himself sympathising with Crew's situation after learning of his removal from the property.

"I know exactly what he's going through."
