Manchester United's new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to sanction a big spend on at least three new signings this summer, according to reports.
It is claimed there are doubts over the futures of 12 players at the club as Ratcliffe attempts to stamp his mark on the Red Devils.
United only announced on Tuesday that the British billionaire's investment had been ratified with the FA and the Premier League.
The 71-year-old has acquired a 27.7 per cent stake in the club and will be in charge of all football duties, as well as the potential redevelopment of Old Trafford.

Ratcliffe has already brought in a new CEO, with Omar Berrada set to start his role in the summer after a period of gardening leave at Manchester City.
United are also wanting to complete a deal with Newcastle to lure sporting director Dan Ashworth to the club.
Ashworth has earned a reputation at Newcastle and former club Brighton for making smart moves in the transfer market.
United are in need of a big improvement in that area, with several of Erik ten Hag's recent signings not living up to their billing.
The Daily Mail says United will look to prioritise signings in three positions in the summer.
They will look to bring in a new striker, a central midfielder and a centre-back.
It is claimed United were unable to make any signings in January due to Financial Fair Play restrictions but they will be eased come the end of the season.
But Ratcliffe also knows the importance of shifting as many players from Ten Hag's squad that are no longer required.
Anthony Martial is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of his contract, while Raphael Varane is likely to follow suit.
But the report says there could be as many as 10 further players who are sold.
Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellistri and Hannibal Mejbri are all currently out on loan.
But they are unlikely to return and United want to bring in around £50million for the quartet.

The same report says the futures of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Casemiro are in doubt, while offers will be listened to for either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof.
Marcus Rashford is also a long-term target for Paris Saint-Germain and he could be eyed as Kylian Mbappe's replacement in France.
The sale of Rashford would free up huge funds for United to make big strides in the transfer market.
Mason Greenwood may also be sold, despite Ratcliffe refusing to rule out a return for the forward.

Speaking this week, Ratcliffe refused to comment on past recruitment and is focused on what the club can achieve in future windows.
He said: "We don’t benefit too much from thinking about that. I’m thinking about getting recruitment in a good place in the future.
"There’s not much I can do about what’s happened in the past. Our thinking is all about how we become first in class in recruitment going forward. Which means you need the right people."
