Manchester City have responded to Manchester United after their fierce rivals reportedly asked whether they could fly two of their players to Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have been nominated for the Golden Boy award after shining for the club over the past 12 months.
And the Daily Mail say United asked City whether they could fly on the same plane as their players ahead of Monday's big event.
However, City informed the Red Devils that there was no room for the pair - with alternate arrangements consequently arranged.

United are attempting to cut costs following the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who purchased a minority stake in the club earlier in the year.
Since the arrival of the British billionaire, the fallen giants have made over 250 members of staff redundant.
The report says United didn't want to send two of their players on a private jet in the current climate, believing it's 'not good a look'.
But it's still surprising nonetheless that arguably the biggest club in world football chose to ask for help from their fiercest rivals.
Eight City players are up for the Ballon d'Or.
Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and Rodri are in contention for the men's award, with Yui Hasegawa, Lauren Hemp and Khadija Shaw in the running for the women's accolade.
Savinho, who joined the club back in the summer, joins Garnacho and Mainoo on the Golden Boy shortlist.
While City won the Premier League last term, they're not expected to have any of their male players win the Ballon d'Or on Monday night.

Instead, there's a widespread consensus that Vinicius Jr will be named as the best player on the planet.
The Brazil international played a key role last season as Real won LaLiga and the Champions League.
And he was sublime in midweek, netting a fantastic hat-trick as Real came from 2-0 down to beat Borussia Dortmund 5-2.
Speaking after that win, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti hailed Vinicius and backed him to win the Ballon d'Or.

"Vinicius will win the Ballon d'Or, it's very clear to me and no one else will be able to win it."
On his relationship with the winger, the Italian added: "It means coaching one of the best in the world.
"He is a very humble guy, he has made a lot of progress as a footballer, becoming one of the best in the world.
