Liverpool's summer acquisition Jeremie Frimpong faces a lengthy absence after suffering a hamstring problem in his inaugural appearance for the club.
The Netherlands international, who completed his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen during the current transfer window, was forced to leave the pitch during the Reds' season-opening fixture against Bournemouth.
The right-back's injury means he won't return to action until the September international window concludes.

His injury is a huge setback for the Merseyside club, particularly given the defender had only just arrived at Anfield following his move from the 2023/24 Bundesliga champions earlier this summer.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot has revealed the medical department made the correct call in advising him to withdraw the player early.

Speaking at Thursday's media briefing, the Dutch manager addressed earlier criticism of his substitution decision.
"The medical team was completely right about Jeremie, to tell me I had to take him off because he's out until the end of the international break," Slot stated.
"I think I got criticised a bit by taking him off. [The medical staff] felt he had an issue in his hamstring.
"Good call to take him off otherwise he might have been out for longer. We expect to have him back after the international break."
The Dutch defender's absence comes at a particularly challenging time for Liverpool, who face two significant Premier League encounters in the coming days.
Frimpong won't be available for Monday's away fixture at St James' Park against Newcastle United, nor will he feature in the home clash with Arsenal on August 31.
Both matches will be broadcast on Sky Sports, with Liverpool missing their new defensive addition for these pivotal early-season tests.
Liverpool do have alternative options at right-back during Frimpong's absence.
Slot provided positive news regarding Conor Bradley's fitness, confirming the Northern Ireland international participated in Thursday's training session with the senior squad for the first time since his own hamstring issue.

"Conor played for a few minutes with us today, for the first time," the manager revealed.
The young defender had been sidelined for Liverpool's opening two matches of the campaign.
Joe Gomez remains another possibility for the right-back position.
However, whether Bradley has recovered sufficiently to be considered for selection against Newcastle on Monday remains uncertain, with Slot not confirming his availability for the trip to Tyneside.
