Liverpool opened the Arne Slot era with a win, with the Merseyside giants beating Ipswich Town 2-0 in Saturday's Premier League clash at Portman Road.
With the match goalless at half time, the Reds were significantly improved after the break.
And goals from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah secured victory for Liverpool in Slot's first game since replacing Jurgen Klopp.
GB News now takes a look at four observations from the clash in Suffolk.
Slot does what Klopp couldn't

Liverpool weren't at their best and will need to improve if they're to win the Premier League title.
But it was still a dream start for Slot, with the Dutchman securing victory at the first time of asking following his appointment earlier in the year.
Klopp couldn't win his first game in charge of Liverpool, with the Reds drawing 0-0 with Tottenham back in October 2015.
And Slot will be pleased at doing something the German couldn't so early into his time in charge.
Salah makes history

Salah is a modern day great and a Premier League legend.
There seems to be little chance of the Liverpool star slowing down this season, even as he approaches the twilight years of his career.
Salah has now scored nine opening day goals for the club ever since touching down from Roma back in the summer transfer window of 2017.
That's one more than fellow icons Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney.

Jota shows his ruthless streak
Prior to the match at Portman Road, fans were wondering who Slot would pick as his main man up top.
And the Dutchman decided to give that privelege to Jota, who repaid the faith of his manager by opening the scoring in the 60th minute.
Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo were both overlooked by Slot.
Jota looks like he'll be hard to displace from the team, with the Portugal international's ruthless nature in front of goal boosting his chances of making the No 9 role his own.
Ipswich can stay up based on this evidence
Many are expecting Ipswich to succumb to relegation this season.
If they perform like this, however, then Kieran McKenna's side have every chance of beating the drop.
Ipswich were impressive for the first 60 minutes, posing a threat on the counter-attack with Liverpool unable to get into their usual rhythm.
Though they somewhat folded after Jota opened the scoring, the Tractor Boys have enough to stay up. Based on this evidence, at least...

Liverpool are next in action against Brentford on Sunday (4.30pm), with Slot hoping to make it two wins from two.
As for Ipswich, they'll be looking to bounce back when they go up against Manchester City on Saturday (3pm).
