EXCLUSIVE: Gunners icon Ray Parlour has opened up ahead of tonight's fascinating European battle

Arsenal icon Ray Parlour thinks Harry Kane will have no 'regrets' about his summer move to Bayern Munich - despite the German giants' failure to win the Bundesliga title.

Kane left Tottenham in August hoping to finally win trophies, having been unsuccessful in his pursuit of silverware during his time in north London.

The England international has been outstanding for Bayern, netting 39 goals from 38 matches across all competitions while also clocking up 10 assists.

However, Bayern have missed out on the Bundesliga title for the first time since 2012.

Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen secured the biggest trophy in German football with a 5-0 victory over Werder Bremen on Sunday.

It means Bayern have added fuel ahead of tonight's match with Arsenal, with the tie currently hanging in the balance.

The first fixture at the Emirates ended 2-2 last Tuesday, with Bayern hopeful playing in front of their own fans at the Allianz Arena can boost their chances of going through.

Yet despite Bayern's difficult season so far, Parlour thinks Kane won't be regretting his decision to leave Tottenham behind.

"No I don't think he's regretting it, it's a new start in his life," he exclusively told GB News, via NetBet Casino.

"He made a big decision - in football I don't think you can have regrets.

"You're making those decisions at the right time of your career and sometimes they go for you, sometimes they go against you.

"You can't have regrets because sometimes it comes down to whether you want to give it a go.

"Bayer Leverkusen, they've been brilliant this year.

"Nobody expected them to do what they've done under Xabi Alonso.

"But Bayern still have a lot to play for.

"Harry's been brilliant, the goals he's scored, I hope he keeps scoring - not against Arsenal - but I hope he keeps scoring for England's point of view.

"But he's been brilliant. He was excellent at the Emirates the other night, he can play that No 10 role.

"He can drop deep, he's got that vision to spray balls around. We all know he's such a cool character in front of goal, such a good finisher.

"But you can't have regrets. I'm sure Harry will be thinking he's disappointed not to win the league this year but they've still got so much to play for, as much as Arsenal have."

While Bayern will have supporters on their side tonight over in Germany, Parlour does think that can work in Arsenal's favour.

The Gunners hero believes all the pressure is on Bayern - instead of Arsenal - and that the demands of the fans could be too much for the Bundesliga titans to cope with.

"This Bayern Munich game, it'll be interesting to see how they go," he admitted.

"With the pace they've [Arsenal have] got they can definitely trouble Bayern away from home and I think all the pressure is on Bayern, with Bayer Leverkusen winning the league as well.

"It's all their eggs in one basket. The crowd will be demanding a performance and Arsenal can take advantage of that."

Arsenal will be hoping to avoid a repeat of what happened when they last faced Bayern at the Allianz back in 2017.

Bayern won 5-1 that night with Thiago Alcantara netting a brace, with Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller also on target.
