The striker set up Kingsley Coman for the winning goal at Old Trafford

Harry Kane attended a party with the rest of his Bayern Munich team-mates after their 1-0 Champions League win over Manchester United on Tuesday night.

The forward was unable to score during the match at Old Trafford.

However, he did assist Kingsley Coman with the France international netting the only goal of the game.

Bayern were superior to United, who have now been sent crashing out of Europe altogether - having amassed just four points from six matches.

And Kane and the rest of the Bayern squad were in good spirits after the match.

Per The Sun, Thomas Tuchel allowed his players to attend a party put on by their beef sponsor following the match.

The players reportedly took a coach from Old Trafford to The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, which is just over two miles from the football stadium.

Kane and his Bayern pals arrived at 11:20pm and were snapped wearing matching tracksuits as they got off the coach.

Thomas Muller shared a picture of himself while on the coach with a caption that read: "Go Ma boys."

Kane reacted after Bayern's victory.

And he delivered his verdict on the match to TNT Sports, saying: "I felt like we controlled the game and I felt like we had the better chances.

"United might have had a bit more of the possession.

"We were calm and knew in the quick transitions that we could hurt them and that was kind of what happened.

"It is always tough when you're top of the group and through already, but we had a good motivation after the result we had at the weekend and it was nice to get the win today."

Bayern boss Tuchel, meanwhile, was delighted with the result - as well as his side's performance.

"It was one of our best performances in the Champions League this season, the level of concentration and the level of defensive actions and winning duels, so this is the attitude we're looking for," he stated.

"We didn't have it last weekend, but it's about showing a reaction and the team did that.

"Now it's on us to keep that level."

And Manuel Neuer said Tuchel was 'very happy' after leaving Manchester with all three points to their name.

"We were very angry about our performance against Frankfurt," he stated.

"We showed a reaction today.

"The coach was very happy; he said he was proud on the sidelines. We gave everything and that’s why we won today.

"We have to give our all in every competition. We have a team that can definitely compete for the title."

Bayern can dream of Champions League glory this season.

But the same can't be said of United.

They conceded a record 15 goals - the highest a single English team has managed in the group stages of the competition.

United will be hoping to bounce back when they lock horns with fierce rivals Liverpool on Sunday (4.30pm).
