Four England players in a fight as pressure mounts following disappointing Denmark draw

The Three Lions are all but through to the Euro 2024 round of 16 - despite struggling during Thursday night's clash in Germany
With four points from a possible six, England's place in the Euro 2024 knockout stages is all but confirmed after their 1-1 draw with Denmark on Thursday night.
But optimism has made way for pessimism, with the Three Lions abject during the clash at the Frankfurt Arena.
England had gone into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over Serbia, with Jude Bellingham the difference on that occasion.
And they were poor again on Thursday. In truth, they were fortunate to get anything from the fixture - with Denmark dominating possession and managing more shots than their rivals.

England players, after the game, insisted it wasn't all doom and gloom.
They'd be right, too. After all, big teams have had far worse results over the years and still been able to etch their names into the history books.
But Harry Kane summed it up best. The 30-year-old, who scored before being withdrawn, admitted levels have been 'dropping' during their tournament so far.
England must do better than this if they're to finally end 58 years of pain by going all the way.
GB News now takes a look at four players involved in a fight to keep their spot in Southgate's starting XI ahead of Tuesday's clash with Slovenia.

Kieran Trippier hasn't put a foot wrong defensively so far.
But the Newcastle star hasn't offered enough going forward and failed to provide an outlet during the disappointing draw with Denmark.
The veteran, who was making his 50th appearance for his country, is a downgrade on Luke Shaw - who remains sidelined through injury.
Yet England would perhaps be wise to tinker for the Slovenia clash.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kyle Walker can both play at left-back and bringing Shaw back ahead of schedule could even be a gamble worth taking.

Alexander-Arnold has been used in midfield by England, despite being a right-back by trade.
Southgate has admitted he's been 'experimenting' with the 25-year-old at a time when Kalvin Phillips isn't good enough to make the side.
And Alexander-Arnold, after being hooked during both England matches so far, must up the ante to keep his spot in the team.
The Liverpool star would be a useful option off the bench and England do have alternative options, with Conor Gallagher and Kobbie Mainoo both sat on the bench.
England could even drop Jude Bellingham back to finally play Phil Foden as a No 10, with the winger also enduring another tricky night at the office...

The brutal truth of the matter is Foden has never quite flourished in an England shirt like he does for Manchester City.
And playing the 23-year-old on the wing is a decision that has backfired so far.
In order for Foden to truly flourish, he needs to play behind Kane at the tip of England's attack. On the flanks, he's wasted.
Again, England have alternative options. Jarrod Bowen and Cole Palmer are worth a punt - with the latter surprisingly snubbed so far.
Foden is too good to be on the bench, however. Southgate must find a way to get him fully firing - and fast.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, if not the very best.
He scored against Denmark on Thursday to make it 13 goals at major tournaments over the years - a number no other player in English football history has managed before.
But Kane doesn't appear to be impacting games. He dropped deep on Thursday, having stayed up top against Serbia, but the match seemed to drift him by.
Ollie Watkins' speed could stretch defences more than Kane. If there's one weakness in his game, it's his lack of speed.
Is dropping him really entirely out of the question?
