There's no denying that, when it comes to being England's most-talented player, Jude Bellingham is right up there.
But the midfielder could now face a huge fight for his starting spot in the wake of Morgan Rogers' superb performance last night, with the Aston Villa star shining as the Three Lions hit Serbia for five to maintain their perfect record in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
England had gone into the clash with a point to prove. Though they'd been winning under Tuchel, barring a shock friendly defeat to Senegal, their performances had certainly left much to be desired.
But, finally under their new manager, the Three Lions roared. England were impressive last night, with their display suggesting that they might just be able to challenge for glory at the 2026 World Cup after all. Once they get there, of course.

There were many top performers in Belgrade.
Marc Guehi was impressive at the back, with the Crystal Palace star scoring his first international break just days after seeing a move to Liverpool break down at the last minute.
Harry Kane led by example, with the Bayern Munich star netting England's opening goal of the game.
And Noni Madueke seized his chance too, with the 23-year-old also on target.

Rogers, however, was arguably the best player on the pitch as England registered their biggest victory under Tuchel - one that silences some of the 52-year-old's critics in the process.
The Villa star, who has been a consistent performer for his club for some time now, provided the assist for Madueke's goal.
Furthermore, he managed five key passes during the contest while also completing three successful dribbles.
His display has led to suggestions that he could now become a key player for England. Roy Keane, speaking on punditry duty for ITV, waxed lyrical by saying: “What he does is give the manager a problem and a brilliant option.

“When you get an opportunity and you perform like that, you’re sending a message to the manager that you’re going to find it hard to leave me out, and that is all these players can do.”
Keane even drew comparisons with one of England’s most mercurial talents.
“When he gets in a tight area and gets away, he reminds me of Gazza [Paul Gascoigne],” he said.
“He just has that thing where you think you’ve got him and then he gets away from you. Just little moments there, he reminds me of Gazza.”

For a while now, Bellingham has been England's No 10 by default.
He might, however, face a fight to make the team in future with Rogers certainly giving Tuchel plenty to ponder.
Bellingham is obviously a superstar and, credit where it's due, has rarely put a foot wrong for England.
Without him, most definitely, last summer's European Championships would have been very different. No win over Serbia on matchday one and the Three Lions would have crashed out to Slovakia in the round of 16.

But Bellingham is known to divide his team-mates. While they appreciate his talents, the Real Madrid star can sometimes be a lonely figure within camp behind the scenes.
There are some within the England squad who also feel the ex-Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund star has been given preferential treatment by the FA regarding interviews in the build-up to matches as well.
For harmony, Tuchel might now be tempted to go with Rogers.
And whether Bellingham can regain his spot in the side, in the wake of his countryman's stirring performance, remains to be seen.
