The Al-Nassr superstar might have a new top team-mate

Cristiano Ronaldo was left visibly impressed by his new team-mate after a sumptuous goal to get off the mark for Al-Nassr on Friday.

Angelo made the £19million move to Saudi Arabia to join up with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

In a shock move, the Brazilian completed the switch having never made an appearance for the Blues.

But the winger has made a fine start to life in the Saudi Pro League and now has his first goal in a 2-0 win over Al-Wehda.

And what a goal it was, sprinting down the right flank before chipping the ball over goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Owaishir from just inside the box.

As Angelo wheeled away in celebration, cameras picked up Ronaldo across the goalmouth, who was equally as jovial.

The former Manchester United star was seen clapping and hollering to commend his new team-mate, also running out to congratulate him.

It was just Angelo's third start for Al-Nassr, who also employ big names like Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte.

The 19-year-old signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from Santos for £13m and was heralded as an up and coming wonderkid.

But among the many signings that have been made at Stamford Bridge, there simply was no room for the forward, who predominantly plays on the right-hand side.

Chelsea already have Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer and now Pedro Neto for the position, while fellow whizkids Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian are also set to join next year.

But with the Saudi Pro League targeting South American talent this summer, Angelo was part of the new directive as well we Alexsander, who joined Al-Ahli, Rangel, who joined Al-Fayha, and Wesley, who also signed for Al-Nassr.
