The FA have confirmedChelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged for breaching anti-doping regulations.
The 24-year-old was provisionally suspended last December after testing positive for banned substance meldonium.
The Ukrainian joined the Blues for a fee rising to £89million in January 2023 but hasn't featured in the Premier League since October.
The FA confirmed the ban in a statement reading: “We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with Anti-Doping Rule Violations alleging the presence and/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Regulations 3 and 4 of The FA’s Anti-Doping Regulations.

"As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to comment further at this time."
Mudryk had previously protested his innocence, taking to Instagram in December.
He wrote: "I can confirm that I have been notified that a sample I provided to The FA contained a banned substance.
“This has come as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules, and am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.
“I know that I have not done anything wrong and remain hopeful that I will be back on the pitch soon. I cannot say any more now due to the confidentiality of the process, but I will as soon as I can.”

The Ukrainian could be facing up to a four-year ban, according to FA regulation, but he will be hoping this is not the case.
Mudryk is said to be working with the same legal firm as Paul Pogba.
The former Manchester United midfielder was provisionally suspended in September 2023, and later given a four-year ban.
However, upon appeal this was lifted to 18 months, with the Frenchman now able to play football.
He has been strongly linked with a move to French side Monaco.
Chelsea announced last month that Mudryk's no 10 shirt would be given away to teammate Cole Palmer, as his abscence from the team continued due to his provisional ban.
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Mudryk has made 73 appearances and scored just 10 goals, and has largely struggled to live up to the hefty price tag to his name.
However, the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger still has six years left on his Chelsea contract after signing an astonishing eight-and-a-half year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk's absence in the Chelsea squad has left them with a shortage on the wings, and the club have embarked on multiple transfer targets since the conclusion of the season.
Borussia Dortmund's English winger Jamie Gittens is at the top of their wish list, while Lyon's Malick Fofana has also been considered.
