Arsenal and Everton post touching messages to Kevin Campbell as former striker 'very unwell' in hospital

Kevin Campbell has fallen seriously ill in hospital with clubs and former team-mates sending out message of support.
Arsenal and Everton have led heartfelt messages of support to Kevin Campbell after news that he had been hospitalised.
The former Premier League striker was reportedly rushed to hospital last week after being taken ill.
The 54-year-old won the title during his time with Arsenal and became a fan-favourite in his six years at Everton.
Everton's statement read: "Not just a great footballer but an incredible person, Kevin is, and always has been, a fighter and we wish him and his family well at this challenging time. Sending all our love.

Arsenal wrote: "Everyone at the club is sending love to Kevin Campbell and his family, following news that our former striker is very unwell.
"We're thinking of you."
Brian McBride had a brief spell on loan at Everton where he played alongside Campbell.
The former USA international issued a heartfelt message online to his former team-mate.
"Thinking of and praying for Kevin Campbell!" McBride posted.
"From the first day I arrived @Everton, he welcomed me with open arms and supported.
"While providing guidance for a newbie to the Prem.
"Keep fighting Kev and know you are supported by so many."

Campbell came through the ranks at Arsenal before making his senior debut in 1988.
He soon became a first-team regular and helped the Gunners win the league in 1991.
The former forward also guided the Gunners to the FA Cup and League Cup double in 1993 before winning the European Cup Winners' Cup a year later.
