Max Verstappen unhappy after Lando Norris dominates Dutch Grand Prix - 'Not quick enough'

Max Verstappen has admitted he's not happy after finishing second to Lando Norris at the Dutch Grand Prix.
The Red Bull star went into his home race hoping to win the event for the fourth year in a row.
Yet it was Norris who was dominant on Sunday, with the McLaren star winning the race to boost his chances of securing the F1 title.
Verstappen has now spoken out after being forced to settle for second.

And the defending Formula One champion lamented that his side 'weren't quick enough' as Norris secured glory.
"You always hope to do better," he admitted.
"We had a good start and tried everything we could but it was clear we were not quick enough.
"I tried to be second today. I tried to do my own race."

While it was a disappointing day for Verstappen, it was another superb performance from Norris.
The McLaren star has come on leaps and bounds this term and has now closed the gap on Verstappen at the top of the F1 standings.
Norris reacted to his win by saying: "It feels amazing. I wouldn't say a perfect race because of lap one again, but it was still beautiful.
"The pace was strong, the car was unbelievable.

"I could push and get past Max. It was a straightforward race.
"Tough but enjoyable."
When asked when he first sensed he would win in the Netherlands, the Briton added: "From quite early on, from lap six or seven, I expected Max to start pushing and open up a gap and he never did.
"From that point I felt we were in the fight. He seemed to keep dropping off and my pace was getting better.

Charles Leclerc finished third, with the Ferrari star admitting he was surprised at how well the race played out.
"Very surprised! I'm not very often happy with P3 but with today's race we can be extremely happy with the job we have done on a difficult weekend for the team," he said.
"We have been struggling from Friday until the race.

"In the race we found some more pace, executed a perfect strategy.
"We undercut two of our competitors, then managed to keep them behind. A really strong race for the team.
"I never thought I would stand on the podium after such a difficult weekend for the team."
