Lewis Hamilton's frustration boiled over at the Miami Grand Prix as he found himself trapped behind Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc despite having superior tyres.
The seven-time world champion was audibly irritated during team radio exchanges when forced to follow in Leclerc's "dirty air" whilst on medium compound tyres compared to the hard tyres on his teammate's car.
Hamilton's patience wore increasingly thin as he struggled to maintain his tyre performance whilst Ferrari's pitwall appeared reluctant to swap their drivers' positions.
"How far are people ahead of Charles? I'm just burning up my tyres behind him," Hamilton questioned over the radio to his Ferrari engineer Riccardo Adami.
When informed that Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli was approximately six seconds ahead, Hamilton's frustration increased.
"So you want me to just sit here? [behind Charles] the whole race?" the British driver demanded.
The Ferrari pitwall initially wanted Hamilton to maintain position, with Adami instructing: "We want to keep the DRS to Charles. Go ahead like this."
Hamilton's response was blunt: "Man, you guys! This is not good teamwork. That's all I'm going to say!"
The British champion then referenced a previous race where he had been more accommodating to team strategy.
"In China I got out of the way when you were on a different strategy!" Hamilton reminded his engineer.
His frustration stemmed from being unable to utilise his medium tyres' performance advantage whilst stuck behind Leclerc.
The exchange highlighted growing tensions between the seven-time world champion and his new team's strategic decision-making.
Eventually, Adami confirmed the team would swap positions, but Hamilton's patience had clearly run out.
"Ah! Have a tea break while you're at it! Come on!" he responded sarcastically, demonstrating his growing impatience with Ferrari's slow decision-making.

Leclerc ultimately did let Hamilton through for seventh position.
This prompted Leclerc to then complain about being in dirty air himself, as the Ferrari pair squabbled over lower points positions.
There were further clashes when Hamilton was told to let Leclerc past him before being told that Williams driver Carlos Sainz was 1.4 seconds behind him.
The Briton responded sarcastically: "You want me to let him past, too?"
