Red Bull have been warned their season could derail if the 'battle for power' continues amid speculation over Christian Horner.
F1 commentator David Croft believes the drama surrounding the team principal will eventually take its toll despite a strong start to the campaign.
Max Verstappen has won the first two races of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, with team-mate Sergio Perez finishing in second.
The three-time back-to-back world champion has been able to ignore off-track noise and focus on what he does best.

But there is no doubt the start of the F1 season has been clouded by a saga surrounding long-serving chief Horner.
Horner was subject to an independent investigation following allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards a female colleague.
The 50-year-old was cleared of any wrongdoing last month but the saga has refused to go away.
Less than 24 hours after being cleared, an anonymous email account leaked alleged messages and photographs purporting to be evidence in the investigation.
Horner's accuser has been suspended by Red Bull and has since appealed the outcome of the investigation.
There is an ongoing power struggle at the top of Red Bull, with speculation over the future of Helmut Marko.
Horner has also faced several calls to resign, with Verstappen's dad Jos claiming the team would 'explode' if he stays.
Croft says talk surrounding Red Bull has not yet had a negative impact on their performances in races.
However, the broadcaster has given fresh hope to other teams aiming to topple the defending champions, insisting the speculation will eventually be to Red Bull's detriment.
Croft told Fox Sports Australia: "What seems to be a battle for power behind the scenes is taking place not to the detriment of their sporting performance at the moment.
"But if there’s a lot going on in the background that is grabbing the attention and draining the energy levels, that might take a toll eventually. It’s a long, long season ahead.
"Marko, at the end of the day, is the guy who has guided Max Verstappen in Formula 1 and throughout his time in Formula 1.

"Marko has that special relationship with the drivers because that’s his job. That is his purpose.

But Croft questions why the Dutchman would leave, adding: "Why would you give up Red Bull at the moment?
"If you’re sat in the best seat in the house, why would you give that up?
"I think it’s unlikely, but you never say anything is impossible in Formula 1, because it often is."
