Luke Humphries believes Luke Littler remains a threat, despite the 17-year-old crashing to defeat against Michael Smith in their Premier League showdown on Thursday.
Humphries is very much the man to beat at the current moment in time and has now made it a hat-trick of triumphs after his latest victory in Dublin.
Littler, however, endured a rough night in Ireland with the teenager losing to Smith in the last eight.
The 17-year-old is now facing a big fight to qualify for the play-offs, with Littler now behind Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen and Humphries in the standings.

Yet Humphries has acknowledged Littler's talent and, speaking after his latest victory, insisted the teenager - along with Michael van Gerwen - are the only players capable of challenging him for supremacy.
"I'm not being arrogant, but if I play my A game there is only a couple of people who can test me in that manner - Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen are the only two, I think, when I'm at my best," he told Sky Sports.
"I'm not unbeatable but I'm putting in those kind of performances where it'll take something big to beat me.
"If I keep playing like this it's just going to take a tough performance to beat me."
Humphries' Premier League campaign took a while to get going.
Yet the 29-year-old is now back to his best, having won the last three nights in a row.
Humphries could make history next week by becoming the first darts star to win four successive events in the Premier League.
And the Briton is delighted at the way he's playing as he looks to etch his name into the record books.
"The last three weeks have been a dream for me and I can't ask much more of myself," he added.
"I want to win this, I want to win. If I'm going to do that, I have to put myself in the best shape.
"I'm hoping to create a record and become the first person to win four Premier League nights in a row.
"I think 26 or 27 points will get you into the play-offs, but now maybe 30."
Humphries was too strong for Peter Wright in the quarter-finals, winning 6-1.
He then followed up that victory by edging a 6-4 thriller against Aspinall.
And he secured his hat-trick by performing excellently in his final victory over Smith.

Humphries is seven points clear of Van Gerwen in second, having picked up 22 points so far - winning 13 matches along the way.
Aspinall and Smith make up the rest of the top four with 13 points each, with Littler also having the same amount.
Rob Cross has picked up 11 points, having won six matches in the tournament so far.
And Gerwyn Price and Wright have seven and two points respectively.

Littler is next in action against Humphries on March 28, with the pair set to meet in another repeat of the memorable World Darts Championship final.
