The Spaniard is set for a bright future after winning his second Grand Slam title

Carlos Alcaraz can now earn roughly £40,000 per Instagram post in the wake of his Wimbledon final win over Novak Djokovic, according to a new study.

The Spaniard was too strong for the former world No 1 at Centre Court recently, winning a five-set epic to claim a second Grand Slam title of his career.

Now, research conducted by CasinoAlpha.com has shown that Alcaraz has an estimated earning potential of £38,520 per sponsored Instagram post.

In addition to that, the 20-year-old can also pocket £19,304 per Instagram story and £50,034 per Instagram reel.

If Alcaraz was to upload a post, share it and do a reel then he could earn a massive £107,858 from doing that.

The research also reveals that Alcaraz gained 533,458 Instagram followers on July 16th when he beat Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.

He also gained 286,607 followers on the platform in the 24 hours after that.

Tudor Turiceanu, Chief Editor of CasinoAlpha, delivered his verdict on the findings by saying: “Winning the Wimbledon men's final and becoming the third youngest person to win the title has already benefited Carlos Alcaraz with a boost in his social media influence and earning potential.

"Wimbledon is considered one of the world's oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments, with a massive following and after beating favourite, Novak Djokovic in an almost five-hour long tournament, Alcaraz’s victory will go down in Wimbledon history.

"Whilst Alcaraz was already ranked as one of the top tennis players as well as winning the US Open in 2022, this victory at Wimbledon is sure to bring even more sponsorship and attention to the 20-year-old player.”

Alcaraz's potential now seems limitless - both on and off the court.

Even before his Wimbledon triumph the youngster was the talk of the tennis world following his stunning rise over the past two years.

Alcaraz won his first Grand Slam at the US Open last year, beating Casper Ruud to reign supreme at Flushing Meadows.

And he then followed that up with an outstanding Wimbledon campaign.

Alcaraz is the world No 1 and will go into the US Open next month as the favourite to claim the trophy.

Djokovic's return to America after a two-year absence will be fascinating, however.

The Serb hasn't taken part in the last two competitions in New York due to his coronavirus vaccination status.

But with Joe Biden easing restrictions for overseas passengers to the US, Djokovic is now set to make his grand return to action.

Meanwhile, regarding Alcaraz, former British tennis star Andrew Castle recently said the Spaniard could become the sport's first billionaire.

“The tennis world is excited by Carlos but he has the possibility of going beyond tennis because there is something incredibly likeable about him," he said.

“He is a wholesome kid, a really good bloke and just a bouncing bundle of energy - and his tennis is exciting. "He doesn’t come from a privileged background.

“He has the possibility of being bigger than the sport, people adore him.

"Carlos is on course to be one of the highest-earning sportsmen in history.
