Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will fight it out for a second time on Saturday at Wembley

Oleksandr Usyk has been described as a 'true gentleman' as he approaches his second fight against Daniel Dubois on Saturday night.

The 38-year-old is looking to become a three-time undisputed champion after achieving the feat at heavyweight and cruiserweight level.

Usyk has already beaten Dubois, landing a ninth-round stoppage over the Briton in August 2023.

But Dubois will arrive at Wembley full of confidence after beating Anthony Joshua last September in a dominating display of power and force, knocking out the former heavyweight champion in the fifth round to retain his IBF title.

Not that this will perturb Usyk, whose unbeaten record dominates Britain's boxing scene with two wins over AJ, two wins over Tyson Fury and victories over Derek Chisora and Tony Bellew, as well as Dubois.

In press conferences, Usyk has come across in many moods; sometimes relaxed, sometimes playful, other times downright scary.

But Frazer Clarke, who has sparred with the Cat in the past, has revealed his true persona - a dedicated professional and a man of honour.

Speaking exclusively to GB News, the British boxer said: "I was very fortunate and lucky enough to go over to Spain a few weeks ago and do a few rounds with him. So I've seen it first hand and it's still as impressive.

"He's, well, obviously I had this thing the first time I sparred with him and I had this thing about him because it's someone you look up to as a fan.

"I was maybe a little bit overwhelmed for a round and a half, but then, you know, after I did my rounds and I did my round with him, some good rounds, competitive rounds, and I just thought, you know what, this, the myth, the legend, it's all true, especially when he's in front of you, he's so good at what he does."

When asked what Usyk was like up close, Clarke said: "I think what you see is what I think what you see is what you get.

"I've been fortunate to meet him enough times over the years. Obviously as a boxer now and being in the gym.

"In the amateurs, I was around him at the various tournaments. I've done it as a broadcaster when I've worked for Sky and stuff like that so I'd say he's a gentleman, first and foremost.

"A true professional. 100 per cent master of his craft.

"But I think the one thing I would definitely take away from it, and take away from him, if I had one word, a couple of words to describe him, I'd say the ultimate professional."

As for the man himself, Usyk is in a confident mood and has denounced claims that the 11-year age-gap could prove pivotal in the upcoming clash.

"I respect this young guy," he said.

"He [Dubois] is motivated but I am too. I am not an old guy - 38 is not old. We will see."

As for match predictions, Clarke can only see one winner.

"I think it's going to be a great fight," he said, on behalf of BetMGM. "I mean, I know that there's been questions over Daniel because of the first fight, but I think this is a lot better fight, a lot more competitive fight than the first time around.

"I can only see Oleksandr Usyk because of what he's done in the sport, the names is beat.

"He put a graphic out there, I think on his Instagram of, of just the Brits, by the way, like, you know, you've got Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua twice, Tyson Fury twice, Daniel Dubois.

"It's just so impressive. So to see past him, I think he's got to go in as a massive favorite."
