"Crystalline pleat draped sleeves add a 1950s touch to this beautiful piece. Silk pleated scarf ties float free from the top back bodice and train to the hemline of the dress.

The Lotus Flower Tiara, which was lent to Sophie by the Queen, has previously been worn by Princess Kate.

The jewel was given to the late Queen Mother as a wedding gift in 1923.

Princess Margaret regularly wore the diadem during the 1950s and 1960s.

In December 2013, the Princess of Wales surprised fans by wearing the tiara at the annual diplomatic reception.
