Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have once again become targets of animated satire, with Family Guy's latest episode drawing controversial comparisons between their marriage and historical atrocities.
The American cartoon, which aired earlier this week, featured characters discussing how "history pretty much sucks" before listing Hitler, the Crusades and Prince Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle in the same breath.
The scene depicted Harry watching the programme from his sofa, responding with exasperation: "Oh, again?" before addressing viewers directly with the retort: "Oh, like all your wives are so much better?"
This marks the latest in a series of animated attacks on the couple.

The controversial segment occurred during a time-travel sequence where the main characters, Stewie and Brian Griffin, encounter author Mark Twain.
When Twain sought suggestions for his novel "The Adventures of Hankenberry Flan", Brian corrected him to "Huckleberry Finn".
Stewie warned about changing history, prompting Brian to respond: "You always say that, but doesn't history pretty much suck? I mean the Crusades, Hitler?"
Stewie then added: "Prince Harry marrying Meghan Markle?"

|Family Guy depicted Prince Harry becoming defensive when his marriage was compared to Hitler and the Crusades.
The programme immediately cut to Harry seated on his sofa, watching the episode unfold. After his defensive response to the camera, the scene returned to the animated storyline.
The couple have faced repeated mockery from animated programmes since stepping down as working royals in 2020.
South Park launched a particularly harsh attack two years ago with an episode titled "The Worldwide Privacy Tour".
The satirical cartoon depicted the "Prince and Princess of Canada" embarking on a publicity tour to promote the prince's book "Waaagh", whilst loudly demanding privacy. Reports suggested Meghan was "upset and overwhelmed" by the portrayal.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met in 2016.
The episode featured numerous jibes, with character Stan calling them the "dumb prince and his stupid wife", whilst Kyle complained about their private jet. Meghan was described as a "sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim".
Family Guy previously targeted the Sussexes in 2023, portraying them as idle beneficiaries of streaming deals. In one scene, Peter Griffin compared himself to the royals, saying he would "go it alone" like them.
The episode showed the couple lounging by their pool as a butler delivered "millions from Netflix for... no one knows what", with the cartoon Harry responding: "Put it with the rest of them."
The scene concluded with Meghan announcing: "Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco." A dejected Harry replied: "I shouldn't have left the made-up nonsense", referencing the monarchy.
