The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester visited Denmark on Sunday to attend official commemorations marking the Liberation of Denmark.

Their Royal Highnesses participated in a thanksgiving service at Copenhagen Cathedral alongside the Danish Government and official representatives.

The service commemorated the anniversary of Denmark's liberation in 1945 following the Second World War.

The garden parties are a longstanding royal tradition bringing together thousands of guests from across the UK.

This summer, two additional garden parties will take place in the Buckingham Palace Garden, with another at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

The next Buckingham Palace garden party is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th 2025.

The final event will be held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Tuesday, July 1st 2025.

These gatherings form part of the royal calendar of public engagements, allowing the monarch to meet people from various walks of life who have made positive contributions to their communities.

The King has given permission for a special Garden Party to be hosted at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, May 14th 2025.

The event, supported by the Department for Education, will recognise and celebrate those working in education across the United Kingdom.

Approximately 7,000 representatives from across educational fields will attend the gathering.

This special occasion highlights the monarchy's commitment to acknowledging the contributions of educators throughout Britain.

The Education and Skills Garden Party represents one of several themed events taking place during this year's garden party season.

Another special event will take place on Friday, May 16th 2025, when The Not Forgotten Association Annual Garden Party will be held at Buckingham Palace.

This gathering will be hosted by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester.
