US Media star Megyn Kelly has hit out at Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, following her comments on the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
Queen Rania of Jordan spoke to CNN's Christiane Amanpour about the world's reaction to the Israel and Hamas war.
In the interview, Queen Rania claimed there is a "glaring double standard" in the world's coverage of the ongoing conflict, which has seen the total death toll on both sides of the war surpass 7,000 people.
Queen Rania told CNN: "Are we being told that it is wrong to kill a family, an entire family at gunpoint, but it's OK to shell them to death?"

Queen Rania continued: "The silence is deafening and to many in our region, it makes the Western world complicit. You know, through their support and through the cover that they give Israel that it is just it's right to defend itself.
"Many in the Arab world are looking at the Western world as not just tolerating this, but as aiding and abetting it. And this is just a horrendous and and it's deeply, deeply disappointing to all of us."
Reacting to the interview on The Megyn Kelly Show, host Kelly was shocked by Queen Rania's response.
Kelly said: "She's been long admired by so many people here who don't, apparently tune in for her real thoughts on things like dead Israelis. She's known for her beauty, her Western fashion sense, and she is absolutely gorgeous on the outside. On the inside, she showed a different story."
"Now even the Palestinians, most ardent supporters have learned that they need to spend like three lines on how they feel terrible about what happened to the Israelis.
"That would be a good place to start the innocent lives lost in Israel, and then maybe you pivot to the innocent lives lost in Gaza. That's not exactly what happened."
Queen Rania also claimed in her interview that there was a "bias" towards Israel, saying: "Why is the narrative always skewed towards the Israeli side? You know the Western media and policymakers are quick to adopt the Israeli narratives.
"When Israel attacks Palestinians die, but when Israelis die, they are murdered in cold blood, it's a massacre. When the President of the United States is told that you know he has seen evidence of children beheaded only to retract because the IDF said that there's no proof of that. That is confirmation bias, even at your network."

Queen Rania was then interrupted by CNN's Amanpour, as she made clear: "Queen Rania I just need to stop you right there because there have been pictures shown by the Israelis and our journalists have been down there.
"I'm not talking about beheadings. I'm talking about babies, bodies riddled with with bullets and things."
Kelly was again shocked by Queen Rania's comments as she said: "Unbelievable. She was actually trying to spin the lie, the Queen, that children weren't killed. Really?
"So just to recap, according to the Queen of Jordan, Israel's the bad guy. OK? Apparently she missed the Hamas interrogations and confessions of their brutality."
