Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall were photographed beaming whilst taking selfies with Misha Nonoo, one of Meghan Markle's closest friends, at Royal Ascot last Friday.
The 35-year-old princess and 44-year-old equestrian were spotted catching up with the British-Bahraini fashion designer, 40, in the royal enclosure at the Berkshire racecourse.
The public display of friendship comes as Eugenie navigates what has been described as the "most tricky" position in the Royal Family.
She must balance her longstanding alliance with Prince Harry and Meghan whilst maintaining close relationships with other royals, including King Charles and her cousin Zara, who were also present at the races.

Nonoo has been a mutual friend of both Eugenie and the Duchess of Sussex for years, with the women knowing each other even before Meghan met Harry in 2016.
Eugenie and her now-husband Jack Brooksbank were present at a Soho House party in Toronto in 2016 when Harry and the Suits actress were first seen together.
The cousins and their partners enjoyed double dates in the early days of the relationship, even dressing up together for a Halloween party in Toronto.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres in 2021, Meghan recalled: "His cousin Eugenie, her boyfriend Jack and my friend Markus were there too. It was so great, just silly fun."

The couple featured Eugenie in personal photographs shown in their 2022 Netflix documentary, making her the only royal to appear in the series.
However, reports emerged in March suggesting the relationship between the cousins had "soured", though People reported in April that their "close relationship remains intact" despite feud rumours.
Eugenie was the first Royal Family member to publicly visit Harry in California two years after he quit senior duties.
The Royal Ascot appearance demonstrated Eugenie's ability to navigate both worlds, with King Charles photographed affectionately kissing his niece's hand whilst she also socialised with Meghan's inner circle.

Earlier that day, Nonoo was seen chatting with both Eugenie and Zara, with other royals visible in the background.
Eugenie attended both Friday and Saturday's races, stunning in a wide-brimmed hat and dress featuring a billowing white skirt and square-shouldered brown top on Friday.
She returned on Saturday with husband Jack Brooksbank, wearing a striking full-length red gown despite the 28 °C heat that saw other attendees wilting.
