Princess Eugenie has been flooded with heartwarming comments pointing out her youngest son Ernie’s royal likeness.
The comments came as the princess, 35, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and her husband Jack Brooksbank celebrated Ernie’s second birthday over the weekend.
Taking to Instagram, Eugenie shared a series of pictures of Ernie with his older brother, August, four.
While most of the images deliberately obscured the young children's faces, eagle eyed fans were quick to notice that the royal’s youngest bore a striking resemblance to his mother.

In the first of the pics posted in her Instagram carousel, Ernie could be seen on a street in London with his head turned to the side – revealing a profile reminiscent of his mother.
One fan gushed in the comments: “From what I can tell, he's your ‘mini me!’"
“He is the image of you,” anther wrote.
“Oh my, he's really a mini Eugenie! Happy birthday Ernie,” a third penned.

A fourth reckoned the two-year-old was a “baby boy version” of Princess Eugenie.
“Happy birthday Ernie… You look so much like your lovely Mommy,” a fifth added.
Another fan spotted a resemblance for August, saying they thought the four-year-old “looks exactly” like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie.
“Could be twins,” they concluded.

Princess Eugenie captioned the celebratory post: "Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it's been.
“Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello's and making everyone happy.
"My golden boy, we love you!" She concluded sweetly.
Also included in the carousel of images was a cute pic of the two young brothers mucking around in the garden.

Their father, Jack, could also be seen spinning Ernie in the air at a snowy ski resort.
In one photograph, Princess Eugenie and Ernest were seen walking down the street in Kensington, near where they live at Ivy Cottage.
The property is located on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where Princess Kate and Prince William also have a residence at Apartment 1A.
When the Brooksbanks are not in London, they spend time in Portugal, where Jack works in marketing at Discovery Land Company.
