Princess Eugenie's father Prince Andrew is said to be considering launching a career rebuild in America

Princess Eugenie has attended an event in the US that is only a two-hour drive away from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Montecito mansion.

Prince Andrew's youngest daughter was pictured at Frieze LA Preview in Santa Monica last week.

Princess Eugenie, who is currently pregnant with her second child, was seen at the event wearing a belted beige coat from French Connection which she layered over a black turtleneck.

It comes as Prince Andrew looks set to copy Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after feuds with King Charles and Prince William according to a royal commentator.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as working members of the Royal Family and moved to the US after leaving the monarchy.

The Duke of York is now considering following in their footsteps as his relationships with King Charles and the heir to the throne Prince William deteriorate.

Angela Levin told GB News: "I'm hearing that it's just something he's thinking about.

"I don't think he'll go there; he's watching what Harry and Megan are doing.

"The thing is, he and Charles just don't get on and whereas he had his mother, and he was his mother's favourite, and she would always help him do what he wants, William just won't. They are not friends.

"He's obviously been left a load of money from his mother, and he can take that, and start a new life."

She added: "He won't actually be on Netflix; he'll want to do business and charitable work.

"He won't go on Netflix - You can bet your bottom dollar on that one."

The Duke of York has ambitions of having similar levels of success in America as the Sussexes according to a royal insider.

They said: "Andrew is less bothered than people think about losing his titles and official royal roles.

"He is thinking about how he can forge a new career. He has been keenly keeping an eye on everything Harry and Meghan have been doing in America.

"They have managed to set up a new working life away from the Royal Family and that is something Andrew has been following very, very closely.

"He is very interested in the businesses and charity side of things, rather than doing anything on Netflix."
