Princess Charlotte accompanied her father, Prince William, to Switzerland last week as they cheered on the Lionesses in their Euros triumph over Spain.
The 10-year-old's presence was a royal first as she enjoyed her first football game overseas and issued an unprecedented joint statement with the Prince of Wales.
Despite the headline grabbing appearance of William and Charlotte, eagle eyed royal fans were quick to spot the young princess had been omitted from the court circular entry of the event.
The court circular is the Royal Family’s official record of their various engagements which is usually updated soon after each appearance.

The entry for the Euro’s appearance read: “The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Football Association, having been received at EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg by His Majesty's Consul-General for the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein (Mr. Richard Shackleton), this evening attended the Union of European Football Associations Women's Euro Final between England and Spain at St. Jakob-Park, Basel, Switzerland.
Notably missing from the notice was any mention of Princess Charlotte’s appearance at the game.
However, the circular is intended to be a record of the activities of working royals and as such do not cover the Wales children who do not yet fulfil that role.
Charlotte and her older brother, Prince George, were also not included in the July 13 log from Kensington Palace to recorded Prince William and Princess Kate’s appearance at Wimbledon.

Even still, Charlotte, George and youngest brother, Prince Louis, have previously been mentioned during major events.
The three children’s names were included as part of the Buckingham Palace entry the 80th anniversary of VE Day on May 5 and Trooping the Colour on June 14.
In both the case of the Euros final and Wimbledon, the presence of the Wales children was not announced ahead of time.
This may go some way to explaining this discrepancy in the children's inclusion on the royal register.

Charlotte's presence on Sunday was her first outing at an international football match with Prince William.
Prince George is usually seen by his father's side at footballing events, previously joining William as they spectated their beloved club Aston Villa's bittersweet Champion's League campaign earlier this year.
However, this time Charlotte led the next generations of royals at the St Jakob-Park where England vanquished Spain following a nail-biting penalty shootout.
Following the win, the 10-year-old Princess and William issued a rare joint statement co-congratulating the Lionesses.
