The Prince and Princess of Monaco attended an inauguration ceremony on Thursday

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco were pictured together for a festive tradition in Monaco.

The royal couple attended the inauguration of the Christmas village in Monaco, alongside the Prince's sister Princess Stephanie.

Charlene looked predictably gorgeous for the inauguration ceremony.

She opted to wear a Burberry Check Draped Coat in Ripple, which was a new purchase for the mother-of-two.

This garment retails for a whopping £3,990 and looked brilliant on the princess.

Its description says: "A single-breasted coat made in Italy from a wool blend, woven with a seasonal check.

"The design features a draped scarf and a detachable B buckle belt to adjust the shape."

The Christmas Village 2023 will remain open until January 7.

Thursday night's inauguration ceremony also kicked off the city's illuminations.

This year, Monaco Christmas Village is dedicated to the late Prince Rainier III, who was married to American actress Grace Kelly between 1956 and her death in 1982.

Prince Albert's outing comes as he just recently gave a speech at Cop28 in Dubai.

The Prince, 65, announced his goal to strengthen the energy transition policy in Monaco.

Albert stated that he asked his government to increase Monaco’s climate commitment by reducing 55 percent of emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050.

He also wishes to ban single-use plastics for certain food containers from January 1, 2024.

In addition, the Prince of Monaco wants to incorporate 10 percent of biomethane in gas distributed in the Principality.
