Mother of Princess Beatrice's stepson speaks out on claims of royal rift

Edoardo, 40, later tied the knot with Princess Beatrice, 35, at the All Saints Chapel in 2020.

Huang admitted she is glad Wolfie has "two sets of parents trying to help him" navigate his childhood.

Edoardo and Beatrice also have a two-year-old daughter named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.

Huang, an American architect, said: "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier'.

"I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him – because it didn’t have to be so easy."

Huang continued to tell Harper's Bazaar: "It's all about your point of view.

"I don't understand people who are divorced and then hold their children as collateral; that doesn’t make any sense.

"It's about creating a happy home and lifestyle."

In a cryptic Instagram post, the 41-year-old revealed that 2023 was a "really challenging year" for her.

Huang shared the candid post saying it was the year with the "most changes".

The architect didn't specify the challenges, but said she hoped 2024 would be better.

In 2022, Wolfie made his royal debut when he attended the Christmas Day celebrations with the Royal Family in Sandringham.

Wolfie made his second appearance at a royal event last December, at Princess Kate's Christmas carol concert.

On both occasions, he walked hand-in-hand with his stepmother Princess Beatrice and father Edoardo.

This past year, Wolfie joined his mother's family in Florida on Christmas Day, where she grew up.

Beatrice has previously described Wolfie as a "bonus child" while Sarah Ferguson refers to him as her grandson.
