Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has turned to selling furniture on his property development website - with some household items priced at nearly £100,000.

Mapelli Mozzi, of Italian noble heritage, started his development and interior design firm Banda at just 23 - and now, well-off punters can buy a selection of vintage furniture used in his projects online.

Prospective shoppers at Banda Gallery - where the antique chairs, tables and sofas can be found - can expect to "infuse your properties with the distinctive essence of Banda".

Selected products in Mapelli Mozzi's range retail for as much as £85,000 - almost triple the UK median wage.

Other products up for grabs from Princess Beatrice's husband include a "love seat" and footstool (£7,500) - the same price as "The Everlasting Floral Installation...a bespoke arrangement of preserved flowers and foliage".

While the £85,000 figure refers to a set of eight chairs, customers looking to recreate Banda's design ethos around a smaller dining table could try a set of five "A Style Dining Chairs" at a comparatively paltry £11,000.

But for more relaxing pursuits, a single day bed retails at £9,500 - while abstract canvases by Nicholas Szymanski can adorn buyers' walls for £3,000.

The art on offer isn't limited to the two-dimensional - a sculpture by Edoardo's step-father David Williams-Ellis sells for an eye-watering £11,400.

One property which could one day see Banda furnishings aplenty is Royal Lodge - Prince Andrew's Berkshire residence which, according to the owner of Golden Key Estates, Raj Chohan, could end up in the hands of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

Chohan told GB News: "Prince Andrew has expressed wishes to hand the property down to his daughters.

"Siblings get equal shares in all assets. Regarding Beatrice and Eugenie, I believe this will be the case especially as there is no son to the heir."

But contrary to the disgraced Duke of York's wishes, property expert Natalie Mitchell from Home How told GB News Prince William could have the final sign-off on who moves in.

Mitchell said: "As part of the Crown Estate, Royal Lodge technically belongs to the current monarch - so, it belongs to King Charles for as long as he reigns.

"Ownership would then pass onto Prince William as he's next in line to the throne. No part of the Crown Estate can be sold, that's why a lease was agreed for Royal Lodge instead."

But as Andrew's lease states, "named members of his immediate family" will one day live in Royal Lodge - almost certainly his two daughters.

The Duchess of York, however, has moved to cool speculation amid reports of a row between Andrew and the King; earlier this year, she said: "I tend not to get involved in brothers' discussions and I think that's the best, most safe place to be... To let the brothers discuss it between themselves."
