Princess Anne’s granddaughter celebrated turning 12 this Easter weekend.

The youngest daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips marked the occasion on Good Friday.

Isla Elizabeth Phillips was born on March 29, 2012, nearly four years after her parents married on May 17, 2008.

Although Isla does not have a royal title, she is 20th in line to the throne.

Princess Anne turned down the Queen’s offer of titles for her children, Peter and Zara and as a result, their grandchildren also do not have titles.

Isla has one older sister, Savannah Anne Kathleen Phillips who was born on December 29, 2010.

It has been speculated that Isla’s middle name, Elizabeth may be in honour of her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Peter, the son of Princess Anne, and Isla’s mother divorced in 2021 but continue to co-parent their daughters.

At the time of the divorce, a spokesperson said: “They continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost.

“Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions.”

He is now partners with Lindsay Wallace, who was a classmate of Zara Tindall, Peter’s sister.

Through her two children, Princess Anne has five grandchildren- four girls and one boy.

Last year, Princess Anne spoke out about her grandchildren, Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips, Mia Tindal, Lena Tindall and Lucas Tindall in an interview.

The Princess Royal said: “I don’t see so much of them but making the point that they live in an area which they shouldn’t take for granted is important I think; both my children are aware of that.”

Anne’s two children and their families live on the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.

Although they are growing up out of the spotlight, the Phillips sisters have attended royal events such as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
