The snub comes just weeks after the American footballer met Prince William at Taylor Swift's concert
Prince William's new pal Travis Kelce appears to have skipped the chance to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after failing to appear at the ESPYs.
The sporting star was reportedly invited to the ceremony because the Kansas City Chiefs were up for Best Team.
The ESPN's guest list did not feature his name - meaning he decided to swerve the event.
Head coach Andy Reid was left to collect an award for Kelce's teammate, Patrick Mahomes, who also did not attend but won the Best Athlete in Mens Sports.
Kelce's apparent snub comes just weeks after he met Prince William at Taylor Swift's concert in London.
The American footballer has since spoken fondly on the encounter.
Speaking on his "New Heights" podcast, he said: "Dude, he [Prince William] was the coolest mother f****r.
"He was awesome. He was so cool. I didn't realise this because obviously we were backstage meeting him because he was there with little George and Charlotte, and they were an absolute delight to meet.
"I wasn't sure if I was supposed to like bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand.

Travis Kelce did not attend the ESPY Awards this year
Getty"It could be interesting given how much Travis hit it off with William," the source told The Sun.
"Travis is like the most sociable, happy go lucky, kind person in any room and is sure to want to say hello to the Prince and interact with the Sussexes.
"That is his style, and honestly he is one of the biggest names in US sport.
"For Harry it could be a potentially awkward encounter given that Travis spoke so warmly about and praised William."
