Prince William looked tense this evening as he watched his beloved team take on Bayern Munich at Villa Park.
Aston Villa are playing their first home game in Europe's top tier since 1983.
Villa, which is also the Prince of Wales's favourite team, are hosting Bayern Munich in the Champion's League.
They last beat the German side to lift the 1982 European Cup.
As a school boy, William decided to support Aston Villa, a club that, at the time, were fighting for a place in the European Cup.
Decades later, William is finally watching Villa play in Europe's elite club competition.
The Prince of Wales is in attendance at Villa Park as Unai Emery's side bid to make it two wins from two matches on their return to the biggest stage after their 3-0 success over Young Boys in Switzerland two weeks ago.
William, who was alongside ex-Manchester United midfielder David Beckham at The London Air Ambulance Charity earlier this week, presented the likes of Ally McCoist and Karen Carney with OBEs at Windsor Castle on Wednesday before making the trip up to the Midlands for Villa's clash against Bayern.

Prince William was photographed looking tense during the historic match.
Before the game, Aston Villa's social media team posted a picture of the royal with the victorious 1982 squad.
They captioned the post: "Royalty meets Aston Villa royalty."
