US Royal Commentator Maureen Callahan has claimed the King Charles and Prince William will "never" strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their royal titles, as it would give the Sussex couple "something else to gripe about".
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently wrapped up their tour of Nigeria, where the couple visited the beneficiaries of their Archewell Foundation and promoted the Invictus Games.
Speaking to GBN America, Callahan claimed that the couple were "cosplaying" their trip as a royal tour, despite no longer being working royals.
Following their trip, reports have emerged in the US claiming that Prince William and his father King Charles are "actively discussing" stripping Harry and Meghan of their royal titles.

Sharing her thoughts on the claims, Callahan told host Nana Akua she believes the King and the Royal Family would "never" strip their titles, as it would give the couple "something else to gripe about".
Callahan told GBNA: "They likely never will because they don't want to give them something else to gripe about. Another quiver in their arsenal, as it were.
"And you can see where they're in this very difficult position of trying to abide and rise above, but also not sort of seem to co-sign these ridiculous cosplaying trips as royals or monetisations."
Callahan also revealed other reports in the US suggest that Prince William is "terrified" of a second instalment of Prince Harry's memoir, Spare.

Callahan explained: "William is apparently terrified of a spare two of a second instalment of a memoir filled with more grievances.

"And so they really have to close ranks and not do anything to poke the bear."
Nana shared her own thoughts on the possibility of Prince Harry writing another memoir following Spare, and suggested it would end up "on the cutting room floor".
Nana admitted: "I think another Spare might go the same way as Omid Scobie's book, which ended up pretty much on the cutting room floor.
"Nobody really wanted that, that awful Endgame. It was the end for him, frankly."

Discussing Prince Harry and Meghan's life in California, Nana turned the conversation to the controversy surrounding the Duke's visa application.
Callahan claimed that US President Joe Biden is "not prepared" to show the public "whether or not Harry lied on his documents".
She told GBNA: "Joe Biden, who's currently in power in America, he is kind of those documents secret at the moment. He's not prepared to show us whether or not Prince Harry admitted about his drug taking on those forms, because if he did, then at least he's told the truth.
"I find it difficult to see any US President embarrassing Harry in that way. The fact of the matter is, he's a VIP. He's basically a foreign dignitary. I don't see them causing an international diplomatic kerfuffle over this."
