Prince William and King Charles will have been very hurt by the recent poisonous attacks on the Royal Family, a royal commentator has claimed.
Royal author Omid Scobie unleashed a plethora of scathing attacks on senior members of the Royal Family in his book Endgame.
The author has links to the Sussexes but sources close to Meghan and Harry have denied the couple collaborated with the journalist during his latest work.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not issue a statement distancing themselves from the book or author following the publication of Endgame at the end of November.

Royal commentator Michael Cole criticised Harry and Meghan's silence over Scobie's attacks on the Royal Family.
Cole told GB News: "It would have been extremely wise had Prince Harry made it clear that he and his wife were not the sources of the book.
"That they did not stand by what had been written, that they did not endorse it in any way.
"The attacks on members of his family.
"It was quite poisonous, was said and very damaging to individuals.
"It would have been very hurtful to King Charles and the Prince of Wales."
Scobie previously co-wrote Finding Freedom, a biography of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's time in the Royal Family.
In 2021, the Duchess of Sussex apologised in court for failing to remember authorising a senior aide to brief Scobie and his co-author Carolyn Durand when they were working on Finding Freedom.

Meghan submitted a statement saying she could not remember emails she had sent to her press secretary, Jason Knauf, about the unauthorised book.
The Duchess's statement said: "I accept that Mr Knauf did provide some information to the authors for the book and that he did so with my knowledge, for a meeting that he planned for with the authors in his capacity as communications secretary.
"The extent of the information he shared is unknown to me.
"When I approved the passage … I did not have the benefit of seeing these emails and I apologise to the court for the fact that I had not remembered these exchanges at the time.
"I had absolutely no wish or intention to mislead the defendant or the court."
