The Prince of Wales joined forces with footballer David Beckham
Prince William delivered an important message shortly after Buckingham Palace released an announcement about Princess Beatrice.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that the Princess of York, 36, is expecting her second child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
On the same day, Beatrice's cousin, the Prince of Wales, attended the inauguration ceremony of two new £8million helicopters, which were donated to the London Air Ambulance Charity at RAF Northolt.
Notably, the future King asked footballer David Beckham to be a part of this special event.
In a video, which was released on social media hours after Beatrice's news, Beckham could be seen thanking William for making him a part of the noble cause.
He said: "We are here today to celebrate the incredible fundraiser and the success of the fundraiser for London's Air Ambulances, which is something that is close to my heart and has been for a number of years.
"As soon as I was asked to be involved by Prince William, it was something that I was very honoured in all honesty, this charity has done so much for so many people all over the years."
The Prince of Wales captioned the video: "A huge step forward in saving lives!

"Great to meet the medical crew, pilots and engineers at RAF Northolt and hear first-hand from former patients about how important the new @londonsairambulance helicopters are."
Prince William issued his latest work update amid the joyful announcement of Princess Beatrice's pregnancy.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the news on Tuesday, issuing the following statement: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.
"His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

However, the Palace was later forced to correct a spelling mistake after posting the news on social media.
The team that was responsible for sharing updates on social media accidentally misspelt "highness", instead writing "highess".
The Royal Family's social media team quickly deleted the post and reissued the announcement with the correct spelling later on in the evening.
