Prince Louis was spotted divulging his ‘favourite’ moment of VE Day to his father, Prince William, as the nation gathered to commemorate the end of the Second World War.
The seven-year-old prince joined his family for the prestigious event, which saw a parade up The Mall and a magnificent fly-past over Buckingham Palace.
Monday’s commemoration marked 80 years since the end of World War Two in Europe on May 8, 1945 and saw King Charles and Queen Camilla joined by Prince William, Kate and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at Buckingham Palace.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the royals observed a military procession of 1,300 members of the armed forces and NATO allies, including a small number of representatives from the Ukrainian military, from a specially built dais on the Queen Victoria Memorial.

During the proceedings, Prince Louis delighted viewers by brushing his father’s uniform and humorously mimicking his older brother George fixing his hair.
Now, keen-eyed lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling has deduced what the young prince shared with his family while they stood on the Palace balcony to take in the magnificent RAF fly past.
Louis was seen to be awestruck during the epic scenes, which included a selection of modern RAF aircraft, including Voyager transports, which deliver equipment to Ukrainian forces, and P8 Poseidons - used to police British waters from Russian incursion.
The incredible display also featured aircraft from Britain's past and future, with a World War Two era Lancaster bomber and cutting edge F-35 Lightning fighter jets passing over the capital.
Capping off the ceremony was the the iconic Red Arrows, which proved to be a treat for Prince Louis.

Hickling observed the seven-year-old mimicking the “chatter chatterchatter” sound of the planes as they screamed through the sky, the Daily Mail reports.
William, turning to his sons, asked if they knew what type of planes were passing overhead.
Eldest George seemed to reply studiously: “No, but I do know it's got two way four engines.”
“Exactly,” the Prince of Wales appeared to confirm, later singling out a particular plane with the comment: “That must be Britannia.”
