Prince Harry was open about his drug use in his Memoir Spare and it could result in him being "kicked out" of the United States

Prince Harry could be heading for trouble as his US future hangs in the balance.

In his memoir titled Spare, Harry admitted that in the past he's experimented with multiple illicit drugs such as cocaine, magic mushrooms, and marijuana.

Under US law, admission of, or evidence of past drug use, can be grounds to reject a visa application.

Speaking about The Duke of Sussex's future in the States royal biographer Angela Levin Told Nana Akua on GB News: "At the end of February, there has been an agreement that all the documents for people who've come to live in America will be revealed, and that includes Prince Harry.

"Now the trouble is there, has he mentioned that he takes a lot of drugs? Have they allowed him to come in regardless or will they send him home to the UK? I mean, it's a huge thing.

"It's taking place in Washington by a judge and a decision will be made. So I think he should be quaking in his boots

"It could make a for a very difficult situation.

"If we heard that he was allowed to go through, despite his blood taken, there would be a huge upheaval.

"If we heard that he was allowed to go through, despite his blood taken, there would be a huge upheaval.

"Because there's quite a few well-known people who have been turned away from America because of their so-called criminal records."

In the past, sources close to the Prince have indicated to the Telegraph that he was truthful on his visa application, suggesting that he disclosed his drug use.

Head of US Immigration Christi Jackson said: "Anything that he has admitted to regarding drug use before the age of 18 should not affect his eligibility for a US visa.

"If he had admitted to drug use when he was over 18, in order for it to lead to visa ineligibility, the admission would have to have been a valid admission which means it cannot just be out in the news or written in their book.

"You have to show that the person has provided the definition and admitted to all essential elements of the crime while under oath. Making a statement in a book is not going to be considered a valid admission."

Levin added: "Why on earth did he put that in his memoirs?" Nana responded: "Because he is an idiot. That is the answer."

Levin said: "It's a very stupid thing to do if you know that you're not allowed to stay in that country.

"If you're a drug taker, to name all the drugs that he's taken and why is a very stupid thing to do."

Levin also discussed the legal action that The Duke is taking against UK newspaper The Mirror for alleged phone hacking.

She said: "He can't stand us, but it's ridiculous really. Why doesn't he move forward instead of looking back?"
