Prince Harry has tried to ignore his royal links

Prince Harry avoided speaking of his ‘Prince’ title or the Royal Family as he spoke of the key things that are most important to him.

The royal has ignored his titles and privilege in the newly released Invictus Games documentary focusing more on his family and veterans.

GB News royal correspondent, Cameron Walker, speaking on Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel said: “An interviewer asks Prince Harry who are you, what you do?

“And he said, on any given day I'm a dad, dad of two with two dogs and my husband and I'm the founder of the Invictus games and I think that's all important at this point.

“And he said, on any given day I'm a dad, dad of two with two dogs and my husband and I'm the founder of the Invictus games and I think that's all important at this point.

“He has no mention at all that he is of course the Prince and 5th in to the throne, which I think is is quite telling because it is such a contrast what we saw last January where Harry and Meghan did a big six part series complaining about the royal family.

“So it's kind of having the old Prince Harry back in a sense."

Breakfast presenter Isabel agreed: “Well, this is the side to Harry we all love, isn't it? I mean Invictus Games has I mean Invictus Games has been such a wonderful legacy and you know it has such a big trajectory.

"I think it could be such a successful idea, you know. And if it continues in the same sort of way it's going.”

Cameron continued: “It was very much focused on those veterans rather than him himself.

“And I think that's why perhaps William and Catherine, for example, are so popular with the British public, because the Spotlights is focused on their charity work rather than themselves and their personal problems.”

“I think we just saw a picture of Prince Harry dropping into a screening, a surprise arrival, and it's all over my social media this morning.”

Prince Harry's Heart of Invictus is currently airing on Netflix.
