Camilla was "hurt" by Prince Harry's latest attacks on her in his autobiography, according to a friend of the Queen Consort.
The Marchioness of Lansdowne, 68, a deputy lieutenant of Wiltshire, said: “Of course it bothers her, of course it hurts. But she doesn’t let it get to her.
"Her philosophy is always, ‘Don’t make a thing of it and it will settle down - least said, soonest mended'."
Meanwhile, an aide told the Sunday Times regarding Camilla's reaction to the book: “It was not stamping of feet or gnashing of teeth, it was much more of an eye-roll response.”

The Duke of Sussex wrote: “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar."
He also claimed Prince William "begged" King Charles not to marry Camilla over fears she would become their "wicked stepmother".
It comes as King Charles has sent an olive branch to his son Prince Harry.
Last week it was announced that Prince Harry will attend King Charles's Coronation on his own while the rest of his family remains in California.
The King has selected a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as part of the official Buckingham Palace souvenir programme to accompany the Coronation.
The move has been seen as a gesture to Prince Harry and Meghan despite the fact the Duchess of Sussex has chosen not to attend the landmark event.
The family portrait was taken at the gardens at Clarence House by royal photographer Chris Jackson to mark King Charles's 70th birthday in 2018.
The picture includes King Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
However, Prince Harry and Prince William's behaviour was labelled an "absolute nightmare" in the build-up to the photo shoot.

According to a royal source Prince Harry and Prince William made the planning of the photo session very difficult.
In the biography Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said that Harry and William "can be hot and cold with their father".
They wrote: "The boys can be hot and cold with their father' disclosed a source, who gave the example of planning the photo session for Charles' 70th birthday, which they called 'an absolute nightmare'.
"'Neither William nor Harry made much of an effort to make themselves available', the source said."
